 We, humans, have tender skin hence it can be affected by various factors such as dirt, dust, pollution, and various other such pollutants. Therefore the immune systems of such people are also weak. Some people have a strong and sustainable immunity system. Hence they can adjust to any kind of environment. But on the other hand, many people have a weak immunity system. This results in various health problems such as redness of the skin, irritation, hay fever, weakness, bumps on the skin, and various other problems. This problem is called an allergy.

 

Allergy can vary according to the immunity and health condition of an individual. Hence it might be negligible for some people while for some it might be severe. The most common symptom observed of an allergy is rashes and itchiness on the skin. Many people try to apply various forms of creams or irritation relieving lotions to get rid of these skin problems. But sometimes the therapy needs to be performed internally as well.

Though there are many medications available in the market to heal the irritation caused by an allergy. But not might all of them work for allergy treatment. Therefore many people prefer to opt for natural methods to heal a health or skin issue. There are many ayurvedic methods which can help one to heal an allergy let us have a look at them:

 

  1. Maintaining Agni in Body

An improper diet can reduce the Agni (fire) in an individual's digestive system which might disturb the balance of a person's digestive system. One should consume less oily and spicy food. Food items that are cooked naturally and are light for the digestive system to digest are preferable under such conditions. It is also advised to use clarified butter or olive oil to keep the food light and healthy so that it can be digested easily. Involving heat-producing food items such as ginger, various kinds of pepper such as black pepper and long pepper, and many such items are helpful to maintain the Agni of body. Therefore it is also advised to switch ginger tea with normal tea under such circumstances.

Allergies may cause cold and accumulation of mucus in our nostrils. Hence practicing nyasa helps one to clear the nasal tract and keep it healthy. This helps one to breathe easily without any irritation. The herbal oil is healthy for the body as it enters within through the nasal path.

One such helpful and amazing lotion is Neem Oil.

 

There are many home remedies for skin allergy. Neem is considered to be one of the best Ayurvedic coolants. It is helpful to relieve one from rashes and irritation of the skin or ayurvedic treatment for skin allergy. The cooling effect of neem is helpful to cure the reddening of the skin steadily and gradually.  Hence we find neem as one of the vital ingredients in many of the Ayurvedic components. Its cooling effect heals the rashes caused due to allergy. Mixing neem leaves with water and few drops of any essential oil and blending it makes a fine neem paste. Apply this paste on the area filled with rashes and the area where the skin is red. Leave on the paste for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then wash off the paste. The procedure of Neti Pot to get rid of cold caused due to allergy is an Ayurvedic and natural remedy. It involves preparing a mixture of salt and hot water. This mixture is then poured into a kettle with a stout. Before pouring the mixture one has to take a few deep breaths. Then bend the head in the direction in which one has to pour water. Relax the mind and body. Slowly pour the salt and water solution in one of the nostrils. After the pouring is done wipe the face with a towel and feels the heat of the mixture intact in the nostrils. Practicing this remedy for a few days will help one to clear the mucus from the nostrils.

 

  1. Cleaning Throat

If an individual is suffering from cold then it affects the throat as well. The throat is also jammed with mucus. It irritates an individual to breathe or speak accurately. Therefore a person is not able to stay at ease. Mixing honey in hot water for gargles prove to be soothing and relaxing for an individual. One can also mix turmeric and mineral salt in hot water for gargles. These natural and Ayurvedic remedies to do gargle help one to elevate mucus from the throat. Consumption of chemical medications is not required once these natural remedies are performed.

In today's hectic and fast-paced world people are not able to give enough time for their health. Hence it might result in the form of stress and depression. Though it is an impossible fact but stress too is also a reason for allergy. It might sound strange but yes stress is a cause of allergy. Many people try anti-depressants to get rid of stress. But popping the harmful pill is not the right or safe solution.

 

It might affect the health of an individual negatively. Therefore going the natural way is the perfect choice to get rid of this health irritation. Meditating is the best way for one to deal with stress, anxiety, and depression. It calms the mind and relaxes the nerves and brain cells. Meditating for at least 10 to 15 minutes a day helps one to get rid of worries and tensions. In a cup of lukewarm water add the juice of half a lime and honey as well. This helps one to act as an anti-allergic agent for our body. One can also add a few drops of edible castor oil in a glass of plain water or any fruit or vegetable juice as well and consume it every morning on an empty stomach.
