In Ayurveda, Three important steps are to be followed.

1. Ayurvedic Diet :

ED may occur due to disturbed balances in our system. These are called Three Doshas in Ayurveda - Vata (Maintains the flow and motion in the body), Pitta (responsible for digestion and metabolism) and kapha (controls the fluids).

Ayurvedic physicians recommend diet which is aimed at maintaining the proper balance in these above three doshas. Erectile Dysfunction occurs generally due to imbalance in 'vata dosha'. So, the diet has to be accordingly to reduce this energy.

It differs from person to person according to one's nature. But, in general, people suffering from impotency must include certain things in diet like garlic, onion, nuts, dairy products, figs, honey etc.

Almond Milk is one of the best remedies for any sexual dysfunctions and can easily be prepared at home. Take a dozen almonds and leave it overnight soaked in water. In the morning, the peel has to be removed. Then, make a milkshake by grinding with warm milk and a spoon of ghee. You can add saffron also. This is a powerful drink and should be taken every day if you are suffering from erectile dysfunction.


2. Ayurvedic Herbs for Erectile Dysfunction

There are few amazing herbs which are specifically used in Ayurvedic treatment for sexual dysfunctions and promotes overall sexual wellness in men. Let's have a look.

  • Ashwagandha
