Healthy Weight Gain Tips

There is a huge rabble who wishes to lose weight. People do exercise, sweat a lot in gyms, eat the right amount of food, maintain a calorie count, and practice several other things religiously to lose weight. But there is a group of people too who wish to gain weight. Certain people are extremely thin and are conscious of it. They are not happy with the shape of the body. Hence such people wish to gain the right amount of weight. A healthy weight gain doesn't mean to stuff food in our body it just ends up increasing the belly fat. A healthy weight gain involves the right food and the right quantity of food so that it helps to increase weight healthily. Let us have a look at some tips that can help you to increase weight healthily without increasing the unwanted belly fat.

  1. Practice Oil Pulling

Oil Pulling method involves rotating one spoonful of sesame or coconut oil around gums and teeth. This helps to get rid of all types of oral problems naturally. It also helps to hydrate our body internally. Ayurveda states that a dry internal system does not allow the body to flourish and gain a healthy weight. Hence oil pulling is one of the best remedies for people who wish to gain weight. It is also a healthy start for the day to enhance oral care too.

  1. Include Milk and Nuts in Diet

Nuts and milk are some of the nutritious food items of our diet. They consist of natural and healthy fats. Hence people who wish to gain weight can include milk and nuts in their breakfast for a healthy way to start their day. One can have broken wheat with milk for breakfast along with 4 to 5 soaked almonds for a healthy start of the day. One can also have whole eggs for the breakfast or can also include cottage cheese also known as 'Paneer'.

  1. Eat rice and Chapati together

Ayurveda states that one of the easiest ways to gain weight is to eat rice and chapati together. This easily helps the individual to healthily increase weight without increasing the belly fat. Hence a healthy diet would include preparation of a seasonal vegetable, along with lentils, rice, and chapati. The carbohydrates in rice help one to healthily increase weight when taken into the right quantity.

  1. Avoid Junk Food

Though it might sound weird yes people who are on a weight gain spree should avoid regular eating of junk food. Though these foods are high in calories and might also increase the weight that weight gain won't be healthy. Junk food only increases the belly fat which ruins a body shape. Hence people who wish to increase weight should avoid junk and look on for some healthy food options for munching like roasted peanuts, nuts, salads, and roasted lotus seeds.

  1. Drink Lots of Water

Drinking water helps to flush out the toxins from the body which is essential for a healthy immune system. Hence, we all should start our day by drinking at least 1 to 2 glasses of water. It is also healthy for our digestive system which is one of the essential requirements to gain weight. A healthy digestive system allows the nutrition of food to be absorbed by the body and gain weight healthily.
