Our teeth are the first part of visibility when we meet someone. The moment we begin a conversation the attention of the person whom we are conversating with is directed towards our teeth. Hence, we are always conscious of them to make them look whiter and germ-free. The first layer of teeth known as enamel slowly fades away by the passing age of an individual. There are many kinds of toothpaste of various brands available in the market advertising themselves as brightening our teeth, but always disappoints us when we don't notice a difference.

Hence in this blog, we have found few healthy and natural remedies for teeth which can help to keep the enamel of teeth shielded and make them look brighter and much whiter. The best thing about these remedies is that they are completely natural and are safe to use. Let us have a look at some homemade remedies. 

  1. Strawberries

Strawberries are delicious and are highly consumed berries. These red-colored berries are not just admirable in taste but are also helpful to whiten our teeth. Strawberries consist of malic acid which helps to make our teeth look whiter. The same acid is used when we consult a dentist to clean our teeth. Hence it is a healthy option to make our teeth shine bright white. One can simply mash a strawberry and make it into a paste form. Every morning along with toothpaste mix this strawberry paste too and then brush your teeth. One should ensure that the strawberry and toothpaste mixture reaches every part of the teeth for complete cleaning. Within a few days, one can notice the difference easily.

  1. Banana

Banana is not just healthy for our bodies but our teeth as well. Many people believe to use natural remedies to clean their teeth and using a banana peel is one among them. Banana is full of manganese and potassium which makes it a healthy ingredient to use. Simply rubbing a banana peel on teeth and allowing it to work for about a few minutes can bring about a slight difference. The remedy may take a bit longer compared to other remedies to show off positive results.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another ingredient included in the queue of whitening teeth components. Though ACV may help one to clean and brighten teeth it should be used in smaller quantities as too much of ACV can damage the enamel of the teeth. Hence it is advised to use a half a spoon of ACV in a glass of water and then rinse the mouth with this solution. One should not carry the procedure continuously and for a longer period to avoid damage. One can perform this mouth rinse twice a week to protect their teeth from any kind of damage.

  1. Activated Charcoal

Activated charcoal is believed to absorb stains and germs from our teeth. Hence it is a highly used ingredient to clean teeth naturally. One can bring activated charcoal capsules and empty the content of it on the toothbrush. Rub these contents on the teeth gently for about two minutes and then wash it off. One can also make a mouth rinse with these charcoal capsules by mixing its contents in half a glass of water. Rinse this mixture for a few seconds and then throw it out. One can see positive results within a few weeks.

  1. Oil Pulling

Oil Pulling is healthy and must include habit according to Ayurveda. It is a procedure of rotating coconut oil in the mouth for about 10 to 15 minutes. This procedure ensures that the oil reaches every part of the mouth. It helps to remove bacteria and toxins present in our mouth. This method also helps to brighten our teeth and make them shine like a pearl.
