The temperature during winters may lower up to 1 to 2 degrees Celsius proving to be unbearable winters but people prefer it rather than hot and unbearable summers. Winters is the time of the season when one needs to not just protect their body from outside but also have to take special steps to keep the body protected internally.

Hence clearing a sore throat is important to stay safe in winters. It may also lead to pain in the throat and its inflammation. It may also cause inconvenience in communicating with others. Under such conditions, the tonsils may also get swollen at times. Salt is one of the best and oldest ingredients used to clear a sore throat. It helps to neutralize the bacteria present in the throat.
