Natural Remedies to Fade Stretch Marks

There are tremendous people who are conscious about their looks. They are always particular about the way they look, about the way they dress up, about the way their skin seems to other people and the way they are presented among others. Hence such people are always particular about the quality of their skin as well. Stretch marks are a skin issue that worries most of us, not just the people who enjoy limelight but it also worries the shy people. Stretch marks are the visible white, skin, or purple lines observed in different parts of the body. Most stretch marks are a fact or worry for women and are mostly observed in them too.

Stretch marks can occur due to various reasons such as pregnancy, such as weight loss or weight gain, family genes, and many other reasons. Due to stretch marks, many people are not able to don their favorite dresses because they are not able to feel comfortable in it. People have to wear full-sleeved clothes due to it to hide them. Though surgery is an option for it it might burn a huge hole in our pocket. Hence why not look for some healthy and easier options which can help us to fade these lines. Let us have a look at some homemade remedies which can help to reduce the visibility of these lines.

Sugar is one of the best exfoliating ingredients available easily at our houses. Refined sugar crystals help to scrub out the dead skin easily. It is also helpful to tone down the darker skin tone and darker parts of the body of our body especially the neck and elbow area. It can also fade stretch marks easily. One needs to prepare an easy sugar scrub by mixing sugar, coconut oil, and lemon juice in a bowl to obtain a sand consistency. Apply this lemon sugar mixture on stretch marks and scrub the area gently for a generous time of about 8 to 10 minutes. Within a few weeks, one will notice a slight difference in the appearance of stretch marks.

  1. Aloe Vera

Another skin-friendly ingredient to nourish our skin is aloe vera. It is helpful for our skin in various ways. It helps to nourish, moisturize, brighten, and soften our skin. It is also one of the best natural conditioners for our hair. Aloe vera has multiple health benefits as well. This multi-functional ingredient is also helpful to evade stretch marks. A simple one can use it in the fresh form to disappear these marks. One can extract fresh aloe vera gel from the leaf and apply it to the stretch mark area after bathing. One can also apply it by mixing with sugar for better results.

  1. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the best and essential oils for our skin. No other cream, lotion, or moisturizer can beat the natural and healing properties of coconut oil. It is helpful to heal cracked and dry skin. It also adds a natural shine to our skin. Applying coconut oil is one of the best ways to make the skin smooth, soft, and supple. Applying coconut oil over the stretch marks and massaging it for about 7 to 10 minutes before bedtime can help to lower the redness caused due to these marks and also help to lower them.

  1. Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is a natural plant-based fat derived from cocoa beans. This healthy butter is the best for our skin. The main beneficial properties of this butter are it helps to nourish and soften the skin naturally. No other market-based product can work as healthily as cocoa butter. Hence it is highly recommended to people with dry and chapped skin. Stretch marks can be hard and rough on our skin. Hence under such conditions, cocoa butter works wonders for the skin. Therefore, doctors too advise pregnant women to apply cocoa butter around their waist until their delivery date to highly avoid stretch marks.

  1. Drink water

Dry and rough skin is prone to stretch marks. Hence keeping skin smooth and soft is one way to avoid stretch marks. Applying lotion and skin creams though might help externally but internal moisturization is vital as well to avoid stretch marks. Drinking water can help to moisturize our skin and tissues internally. Hence, we should always keep our selves hydrated. Hence drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day to see these marks slowly and gradually fade away.
