Spinach a green leafy vegetable mostly found in the winter season. It is not only a popular vegetable in India but also highly produced in countries like China, United States, Japan, Turkey, and Indonesia. It is also a highly nutritious vegetable. It consists of nutrients like iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and many other minerals and vitamins. Spinach can be consumed raw as well as cooked. It is a helpful vegetable to clear out various health problems. Spinach can also be used as a replacement for lettuce in various salads and other lip-smacking cuisines. The best way to savor the nutrients of this leafy vegetable is to eat is fresh but one can also consume its canned form in the areas where its fresh form is not available. It is considered to be one among the best vegetables while one is on a weight-reducing spree as spinach contains a negligible amount of fat. It is a watery vegetable that helps one to not just fulfill one but also cleanse the palette too.
