Citronella oil is extracted from Cymbopogon nardus (also known as Andropogon nardus) and is of the Graminae (Poaceae) family. It is also known as Sri Lanka or Lenabatu citronella.

Combine citronella oil with coconut oil to massage on your body. In case of sensitive skin, add few more drops of coconut oil.
Add 1-2 drops of Citronella Essential Oil to a regular mild face wash. This is known to naturally reduce the appearance of blemishes and the formation of acne.
Mix 2-3 drops of Citronella Essential Oil into a regular shampoo. This is known to soothe the scalps and eliminate dandruff.
Mixing citronella oil with a sweet almond carrier oil can also be used as a hair mask. Leave the mask for 20 mins and rinse out the oil with regular shampoo and style the hair as usual.
Never apply this oil directly to your skin if your skin is sensitive.
Keep it away from children and infants.
It should not be used for pregnant women.
Never take this oil orally.
